surah al-fatihah
1. "بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمBismi Llâhi r-rahmâni r-rahîm1."1. "With the name of Allah, most Gracious, most Rewarding2. ٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينAl-hamdu liLlâhi rabbi l-`âlamîn"THE Hamd belong to Allah, the Rabb of all the worlds;3. "ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمAr-rahmâni r-rahîmthe Rahman, the Rahim4. "مَـٰلِكِ يَوْمِ ٱلدِّينMâliki yawmi d-dînMalik of the Day of Requital.5. "إِيَّاكَ نَعْبُدُ وَإِيَّاكَ نَسْتَعِينُIyyâka na`budu wa'iyyâka nasta`înYou alone we do serve, and to You alone we beseech for help.6. "ٱهْدِنَا ٱلصِّرَ ٰط ٱلْمُسْتَقِيمَIhdina s-sirâta l-mustaqîmGuide us on the Right Path,7. "صِرَ ٰطَ ٱلَّذِينَ أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيْهِمْ غَيْرِ ٱلْمَغْضُوبِ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلاَ ٱلضَّاۤلِّينَSirâta llazîna an`amta `alayhim ghayri l-maghdhûbi `alayhim wala dh-dhâllîn'the path of those upon whom You have bestowed favors; not of those upon whom wrath is brought down, nor of those gone-astray.
